NATIONAL WEBINAR ON AADHUNIKA KAVITVAMU-BHINNA REETHULU in 2021-2022

NATIONAL WEBINAR  ON  AADHUNIKA KAVITVAMU-BHINNA REETHULU
Date: 20-01-2022
AIMS & OBJECTS
There is considerable variety and diversity in the forms and content of Modern poetic works. The format of modern poetry has varied from epic poems to haikus and the content has taken within its fold diverse issues relevant to the current times. The modern poetry is also showing signs of being unshackled from the restrictions of being in conformity with metric requirements. It may not be possible
to touch upon umpteen aspects of modern poetry in a webinar held for half a day. In view of this, we have designed this webinar with a focus on the important contemporary issues of environmental protection and issues concerning the farmers so as to elicit the views of the modern poets on such issues. We hope that the faculty and research students would be able to widen their horizons on these issues after listening to the speeches of various renowned poets, critics and professors in this webinar.
