ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

     The Department of Economics was established in 1966 in order to provide high quality education for women students and to explore the recent advances in innovative teaching learning methods for the effective teaching. The department of Economics  is having qualified and dedicated teaching Staff.. We are committed to help students to learn, understand, interpret, and apply a variety of Physical concepts in under graduate education. The department plays a key role in all round development of personality of the students.

A Brief History of Economics Department:

1.The Department of Economics having 110 students were enrolled during the academic Year 2021-22.

2. Some of the merit students were got various jobs.

3. Every year Economics outgoing students got best ranks in B.Ed, B.L, B.LiSc and  PG etc Entrance tests.

4. The Department of Economics conducted  Two day National Seminar, student field trips etc.

5.The Department of Economics provides academic and competitive Exams Economics Material for students with free of cost.

6.  The Department of Economics conducted Best Practices like Organic Farming and Student Prudential Bank, Tie and Dye, Sprots Preparation, Honesty Counter etc for last several years.

2.To undertake quality in socio-economic research for regional development.

3. Use of LMS, Mana-TV Digital sources to enrich Economics knoledge.

4. Strengthening their ideas of process by alternative mode of creativity, innovative employment.
